  1. 1. Are spider venom and scorpion venom directly extracted from spider and scorpion?

    No, there are not. 


    NEXGEN Biotech's hybrid protein materials are produced based on the advanced genetic engineering technologies including genetic recombination and protein purification technologies. 

    First, we obtain the genetic information about spider venom and scorpion venom through the genetic data information, and then we insert this genetic information into the protein expression system of E.coli so as to purify and mass-produce the materials.

    This is the same principle as the mass production of insulin and growth hormone for pharmaceuticals.

    NEXGEN Biotech is able to produce the new materials of their own with this technology and introducing the hybrid technology at the same time.



  2. 2. What is a hybrid protein? 

    Hybrid concepts are widely known. 

    It is the same principle as mixing copper and tin to create a new material, bronze. 

    The hybrid protein is a new protein that is made from two or more kinds of proteins are used the genetic recombination technology.


    In other words, it is a new protein made by recombining existing proteins, such as EGF protein, spider venom and scorpion venom, and it has the functions of both proteins  and more synergistic effect.


  3. 3. What are the functions of hybrid proteins? 


    It is a cosmetic raw material that is effective in improving anti-wrinkles/whitening/elasticity regardless of formulations.

    Yes, it can.

    We have research data to verify the effectiveness as cosmetic raw materials, such as cell experiment data in vitro.


  6. 6. What is the difference between peptides and proteins?


    Peptides and proteins are composed of substances called amino acids. 

    Thus, the difference between peptides and proteins is the difference in the number of amino acids, which is the unit that composes both substances.

    Peptides have less than 50 amino acids while proteins have more than 50 amino acids. In other words, it is only the difference in the names according to the number of the compositional basic unit (amino acids). 

    For example, it is the same principle as classifying children and adults according to the size.
